On 9 October 2025, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andžejs Viļumsons, held consultations in Riga with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, who was on a working visit to Latvia.
