Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe

The Council of Europe is a regional organisation with the goal of strengthening human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe.

Latvia joined the Council of Europe in 1995. The Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe works to represent and implement the national interests of Latvia in this organisation.
