From 18 to 20 September 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will be in Japan for a working visit. Its aim is to strengthen the political and security dialogue between Latvia and Japan and promote cooperation in economy, attraction of investments, as well as technology and innovation. In Tokyo, Foreign Minister Baiba Braže will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Takeshi Iwaya, the Chair of the Japan-Latvia Parliamentary Cooperation Group, Hirofumi Nakasone, and experts from leading think-tanks.
