Snow Meeting 2026 logotips

On 15–16 January 2026, Artjoms Uršuļskis, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is attending the Snow Meeting, the annual gathering of high-level experts in foreign affairs and security policy, held in Lithuania for the nineteenth time. The meeting was opened by Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kęstutis Budrys. 

The main topics of this year’s Snow Meeting include strengthening of the transatlantic alliance and NATO capabilities, support for Ukraine in its efforts to counter Russian aggression, and the importance of close cooperation among the Baltic and Nordic countries (NB8) in ensuring regional security and defence. Artjoms Uršuļskis will speak at a panel discussion dedicated to support for Ukraine. 

During the forum discussions, current security and foreign policy challenges will be discussed by government officials, diplomats, security policy experts, and academics. 

At the Snow Meeting, Parliamentary Secretary Artjoms Uršuļskis will represent Latvia at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the Baltic States and Türkiye to discuss cooperation between the Baltic States and Türkiye and current geopolitical issues.
