From 8 to 9 December 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will be on a working visit to Washington. During the visit, the Minister will meet with representatives of the US Administration and Congress.
This visit continues Latvia’s consistent efforts to strengthen contacts and dialogue with the US, deepen cooperation in the areas of security and defence, advance Euro-Atlantic security issues, and promote closer economic dialogue.
The Minister is also scheduled to give interviews to US media outlets and hold discussions at several US think tanks that play a key role in shaping the US foreign policy strategy.
