On 27–28 August 2026, Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Țoiu, will pay a working visit to Latvia. Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže will host her Romanian counterpart and discuss bilateral cooperation and cooperation within international organisations, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the security situation in Europe, as well as current issues on the EU agenda.
During her working visit to Riga, Oana Țoiu will visit the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence and the National Library of Latvia and, together with the Latvian Foreign Minister, participate in the ceremonial opening of the Embassy of Romania in Latvia.
