Latvian and Croatian flags

On Friday, 5 September 2025, in Riga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Baiba Braže, will welcome the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Gordan Grlić Radman, on a working visit to Latvia.

The Ministers will discuss cooperation at the bilateral and regional level, Russia’s war against Ukraine and the security situation in Europe, the European Union’s support to Ukraine, and topics high on the EU agenda, including the next multiannual financial framework.

As part of his stay, Gordan Grlić Radman will meet with the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs and members of the Saeima (the Latvian Parliament), as well as visiting the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence. The Croatian Foreign Minister will also deliver a lecture, “Medium Sized EU Member States and the Future of European Security: A Croatian Perspective”, at the University of Latvia.
