On Thursday, 28 August 2025, in Riga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Baiba Braže, will meet with the Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro, Filip Ivanović, who arrives in Latvia for a working visit.

The officials intend to discuss the bilateral relations between Latvia and Montenegro, the enlargement of the European Union, security matters, Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, support to Ukraine, and Latvia’s preparations for its membership of the United Nations Security Council.
