On 4–5 February 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will visit the Kingdom of Norway (Tromsø and Oslo) to meet the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway, Espen Barth Eide, and the Minister of Trade and Industry of Norway, Cecilie Myrseth. The Ministers will discuss bilateral and regional cooperation, support for Ukraine and efforts to contain Russia, transatlantic relations, and regional and Arctic security matters. 

The Minister will speak at the Arctic Frontiers Conference, which focuses on security and future challenges in the Arctic region. The Minister of Trade and Industry of Norway, Cecilie Myrseth, and Deputy Director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, Samu Paukkunen, will also participate in the conference alongside the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

During a visit to the University of Tromsø, the Minister will hold discussions with Vice-Rector Jonas Stein and members of the student parliament. Baiba Braže will also visit the Norway Quantum House (Norsk kvanteklynge).

The Minister will meet with diaspora activists and young professionals at the Embassy of Latvia in Norway.

The Minister will also give interviews to Norwegian media.
