From 6 to 7 May 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will pay a working visit to Yerevan, Armenia. She is scheduled to meet with Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, to discuss bilateral relations between Latvia and Armenia. They will also discuss European Union–Armenia cooperation and the key outcomes of the first EU–Armenia summit held on 5 May, as well as current issues on the regional and international agenda, including the Armenia–Azerbaijan peace process, the situation in Ukraine and the Middle East.

The Minister will also meet with Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, and share Latvia’s experience, achievements and proposals for strengthening cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies and digitalization.

During the visit, the Minister is also scheduled to participate in the international Yerevan Dialogue Forum, meet with representatives of Armenian civil society, and give interviews to local media.
