On Thursday, 15 January 2026, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Jean-Noël Barrot, will make a working visit to Latvia.
Due to unexpected changes in the agenda of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, there have also been changes to media opportunity:
- 14:30 – courtesy flower laying at the Freedom Monument with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, and the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Jean-Noël Barrot;
- 14:45 – the ministers arrive at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Official photo and signing of the Guest Book (Zariņš’ Saloon, first floor);
- from 16:10 to 16:50 – joint press conference of the ministers (Press Conference Room, first floor). Languages: Latvian – French with simultaneous interpretation.
