On 2 February 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will host the visit of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. During the meeting, the Ministers will discuss ways to deepen economic cooperation, implement development cooperation projects, and work together within international organisations. They also plan to discuss the current security situation in Europe in the context of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and also the threat posed by terrorism and its impact on security in West Africa. An extensive economic agenda is planned for the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ghana, including meetings with representatives of several ministries.
