On 28 and 29 October 2025, His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark and Her Majesty Queen Mary of Denmark are paying a state visit to Latvia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, will participate in the official welcoming ceremony at Riga Castle, the laying of flowers at the Freedom Monument, visit the Museum of Occupation together with the delegation, as well as attending the state dinner hosted by the President of Latvia in honour of the royal couple.
