On 21 and 22 October 2025, at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, the Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Mathias Cormann, is in Latvia for a working visit. He will take part in a forum on Digitalization & Connectivity: Techritory 2025.
The OECD Secretary-General will meet with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Economy, the Minister of Education and Science, the Minister of Smart Administration and Regional Development, the Minister of Agriculture, as well as the management of Riga Technical University and representatives from the Tilde language technology company.
The Techritory Forum has been bringing together high-level experts, entrepreneurs, policymakers, academics and other leaders from the innovation and technology sectors in Latvia for the eighth consecutive year.
