Ārlietu ministrs Krišjānis Kariņš rokojas ar ASV valsts sekretāru Entoniju Blinkenu (Antony Blinken)

On 25 March 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Krišjānis Kariņš, will be in Washington, D.C. on a working visit, during which he is to take part in joint meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Baltic States with the United States Secretary of State, Antony Blinken. The officials are expected to discuss preparations for the NATO Washington Summit in July 2024, security issues in the Baltic region, support for Ukraine, and response to Russia’s aggression.

As part of his visit, Krišjānis Kariņš is scheduled to participate in a public discussion at the Hudson Institute think tank on “Enhancing Northern European Security: Why the US should Listen to the Baltic States?”, in meetings with management and experts at other leading United States think tanks, and interviews with the media.
