From 13 to 14 March 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Krišjānis Kariņš, will be on a working visit in London, the United Kingdom, where he will meet with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, and other officials to discuss further support for Ukraine and cooperation in the security and defence of the Baltic region.

During his visit, Krišjānis Kariņš will meet with the Chair of the the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee, Alicia Kearns, and the Minister of State at the Department for Business and Trade, Nusrat Ghani, whose responsibilities include Ukraine reconstruction.

The Latvian Foreign Minister will also take part in a round table discussion at a United Kingdom’s think-tank, the Council on Geostrategy, on the topic of “United in support for Ukraine: Increasing defence capabilities”.

As part of his working visit, Foreign Minister Krišjānis Kariņš has also been scheduled media interviews.
