(entrance from Burburry Close) see the map

Visits by prior appointment only, following all COVID-related public health directions set in Australia.

To apply for a passport or an ID card, please use the electronic application system. Apply for other services by sending an email to consulate.australia@mfa.gov.lv and indicate your name, surname, contact information and the service required.

In addition, please note that many consular services can be received abroad directly from a competent authority in Latvia through the use of e-services provided by the State administration on its www.latvia.lv portal, by sending an electronically signed application to the official e-mail address of an institution or an application by post.

Remote services, for instance, include receiving certifications and statements, requesting repeated birth, marriage and death certificates, registration of children for citizenship of Latvia, and updating other information on the Register of Natural Persons. For information on the possibilities of receiving those services remotely see the internet sites of the Ministry of Justice and the Office for Citizenship and Migration Affairs at https://www.tm.gov.lv/lv/pakalpojumi-0 and https://www.pmlp.gov.lv/lv.

In view of the geographical scale of Australia, the Embassy intend to arrange missions by a mobile passport workstation to the largest Latvian diaspora centres. When the epidemiological conditions are favourable for travelling, information about the field-trips planned will be posted on the Embassy’s website and social media accounts and spread to the Latvian organisations in advance.
