Toms Sadovskis, Advisor on Strategic Communication and Public Diplomacy, will join the team of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, replacing the current Adviser, Signe Znotiņa-Znota.

Toms Sadovskis has extensive experience in the communications sector. Toms Sadovskis has worked for the State Police, the Riga City Municipal Police, the private sector, and the Saeima Press Service.

Toms Sadovskis holds a degree in law from the University of Latvia. He has received several awards for his service in public administration. He has also received the Latvian Association of Public Relations Professionals (LASAP) Annual Award – the “Golden Button” – which is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of public relations and communications.

Toms Sadovskis will start work in the Foreign Minister’s team on 30 March.

Meanwhile, Signe Znotiņa-Znota, having passed an open competition, joins the Latvian foreign service as press secretary at the Permanent Mission of Latvia to the UN in New York.
