On 3 December 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže will take part in the NATO Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Brussels, Belgium.

The meeting will focus on strengthening the Alliance’s deterrence and defence capabilities, moving towards the target of 5% of GDP as set out in the agreement adopted in The Hague earlier this year. The ministers will also discuss hybrid attacks carried out by Russia against NATO member states, particularly on the Eastern flank, as well as potential response measures.

The meeting will also include a session of the NATO–Ukraine Council, attended by the EU High Representative, Kaja Kallas.
