On 16 September 2025, the Cabinet approved a draft order on the participation of a civilian expert Kristīne Grīnberga in the European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA). On 1 October, she will take up the post of a junior expert for the press and public information. Upon assuming her duties, Kristīne Grīnberga becomes the third civilian expert from Latvia on the EUMA. Currently, 25 European Union Member States have contributed 147 civilian experts to the mission.
