Latvia continues to contribute to the UN system and global community in line with Latvia’s priorities - protection of human rights, ensuring peace and security, strengthening gender equality, promotion of media and information literacy, ensuring sustainable development and providing humanitarian assistance.
The efficiency of international organisations and funds are directly related to timely regular contributions complemented by the voluntary inputs by countries and other donors. This year Latvia has made voluntary contributions to 14 global organisations and funds demonstrating its solidarity with the UN system and regional partners.
