    • Latvia’s chairmanship of the Baltic Council of Ministers On 1 January 2025, Latvia takes over the chairmanship of the Baltic Council of Ministers (BCM) for a year. The priority directions for cooperation under the Latvian chairmanship will be regional security and resilience, support to Ukraine, as well as the improvement of regional connectivity, strengthening energy security, and attracting investment.
