On 17 July 2026, the current Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Artjoms Uršuļskis, will assume the position of Head of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, taking over the duties of the current Head of Minister's Office, Kaspars Krumholcs. Kaspars Krumholcs has been confirmed as Latvia’s Ambassador to Japan.
Dace Melbārde will return to the position of Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry on 17 July, having previously held this position from May 2024 to March 2025.
