On October 8, Ambassador of Latvia to the United States Māris Selga took part in the opening ceremony of Printful’s new facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The red ribbon was cut by the Ambassador and the Chief Operating Office of Printful Ms Zane Levša.
In his remarks, Ambassador Selga noted the achievements of the company and how they have contributed to the upwards dynamic of Latvian and U.S. economic cooperation. The company began with eight people and is now employing hundreds.
The company is planning to create additional 100 jobs in Charlotte, NC until the end of 2020. Considering the jobs data also from the facility in Westlake, this will bring the total number of jobs created by Printful in North Carolina to over 400.
Currently, Printful is the largest Latvian company in North America. It has production facilities in California, North Carolina and Mexico. Recently, they also opened a facility in the Riga Airport business park in Latvia. The company employs more than 600 people in total.
