On 21 January, at the modern art center “Art in General” in New York City, the Ambassador of Latvia to the United States of America, Andris Razāns, and the Permanent Representative of Latvia to the United Nations, H.E. Jānis Mažeiks, will open the contemporary art exhibition, “Lily’s Pool.”
The exhibition, “Lily’s Pool”, is a joint project featuring seven Latvian artists. It takes place in the framework of an international partnership program between the “kim?” Contemporary Art Centre in Riga and the “Art in General” contemporary art center in New York City. The artists from Latvia participating in this exhibition are Kaspars Groševs, Ieva Kraule, Darja Meļņikova, Miks Mitrēvics, Kristīne Kursiša, Evita Vasiļjeva and Armands Zelčs.
This exhibition takes place in the context of Latvia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and it will be open to the public from 22 January – 21 February 2015.
