The Latvian children's film "Bear is coming" (Lacis nak) will be shown as part of the Kids Eurofestival in Washington, DC.
The movie will be shown on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at La Maison Francaise (French Embassy), 4101 Reservoir Road NW, Washington DC 20007.
Based on real events, this story follows a clever bear as he travels from his home on the Latvian mainland to an island in the middle of the Baltic Sea where a group of children befriend him.
The 2008 animation movie is in Latvian with English subtitles, and recommended for ages 7 and above. Admission: free
