Latvian embassy presented Latvian products at the annual International Christmas Charity Bazaar

On November 13th, the traditional International Christmas Charity Bazaar took place at the Hilton hotel in Prague. This event is organized by Diplomatic Spouses’ Association in Prague. Bazaar was attended by representatives from 50 embassies in Czech Republic, including the Latvian. Patron of Bazaar is Mrs. Livia Klausová, wife of president of the Czech Republic.

Latvian grocery was represented by liqueur „Rīgas balzams”, chocolate „Laima”, cookies and gingerbreads from the bakery „Flora”, sparkling drink „Mežezers” and sugar cranberries „Kronis”.

Bazaar is very popular amongst the citizens of Prague, over 14 000 people have visited this year 's edition. All the raised money will be used for the charitable projects in Czech Republic, including orphan houses and hospitals.

Latvian embassy used the opourtunity to broaden knowledge of Latvian products in Czech Republic. TV Prima presented Latvian participation at this year’s bazaar and the Czech radio interviewed employees of the embassy about the Latvian products at the bazaar.
