On 31st March, the Ambassador Kaspars Ozoliņš will open the exhibition "Art Nouveau in architecture of Riga” to be held in Brno municipality house. The exhibition "Art Nouveau in architecture of Riga” is prepared by Riga municipal agency "Riga City Architect's Office" and the exhibition curator is professor at the Riga Technical University, Jānis Krastiņš. Earlier this month the exhibition was held in Liberec.
The Czech mezzo-soprano Lucie Hilscherova will take part in the opening of the exhibiton and will perform three songs composed by Pēteris Plakidis. The exhibition "Art Nouveau in architecture of Riga” will be open to public until 22 April. The visitors will have an opportunity to acquaint themselves with tourism information about Latvia provided by Live Riga and the calendar of 30 most important cultural events in Latvia.
On 1st April the exhibition of Latvian textile artist Aina Muze will be opened within the framework of 5th International Prague Patchwork Meeting. Representatives of the Latvian Embassy in Prague will attend the ceremonial opening of the exhibition.
In the weekend an international choir festival “young2011prague” will take place in Prague, too. “Friends choir” from Rēzekne region will take part within the category of girls’ choirs.
Textile artist Aina Muze and Rēzekne region girls’ choir will visit also the Latvian embassy in Prague.
