Any interested party have a possibility to report violations of the OECD Guidelines by an enterprise to the NCP. The obligation of the NCP is to provide stakeholders with a forum for discussion, thus contributing to the prevention of violations.
Specific instances (official Guidelines’ complaint process) are not legal cases and NCPs are not judicial bodies. The NCP focus on problem solving – they offer good offices and facilitate access to consensual and non-adversarial procedures (e.g. conciliation or mediation).
