Ambassador Ingrīda Levrence submits credentials to the President of Armenia

On 20 November 2018 in Yerevan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to the Republic of Armenia, Ingrīda Levrence, submitted her credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian.

In a conversation, the President of Armenia commended the excellent bilateral relations between the countries and reiterated his congratulations on the Centenary of the Republic of Latvia. The Ambassador and the President stated their intention to strengthen bilateral relations in the areas such as information technologies, education, science and culture, and underlined the need for such strengthening.

The officials also shared views on the relationship between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union. Ambassador Levrence welcomed the recent dynamic development of those relations, highlighting in particular Armenia’s commitment to working on the implementation of the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.

Ingrīda Levrence has been the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia to Georgia since May 2018.

The Latvian Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia resides in Tbilisi, Georgia.
