Latvian Foreign Minister offers condolences to the United Kingdom and its people on explosion at Manchester Arena

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Edgars Rinkēvičs, on behalf of Latvia, offers deepest condolences to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and its people in relation to the explosion at Manchester Arena on 22 May that left a large number of people dead or injured, including young people and children.

“On this tragic day, Latvia Latvia stands shoulder to shoulder with the entire British nation. Such acts of violence can never be justified, and are nothing but condemnable. I offer my condolences to the families of the victims and wish a soon recovery to the injured,” Edgars Rinkēvičs wrote in his message of condolence to Boris Johnson, the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs of the United Kingdom.
