Latvia extends its assistance to fight against coronavirus

Government of Latvia has donated epidemic prevention and control supplies, including protective clothing, masks, respirators and others to assist China’s efforts to contain coronavirus outbreak. These goods will be used by medical teams in the areas most affected by the coronavirus.

Also Public Representative of Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in China, Mr. Martin Yin together with the chairman of Latvia Travel and Investment Development Committee Mr. Krists Solovejs made a donation to help China tackle the novel coronavirus outbreak by donating 378 pieces of special protective suits. They hope that the donation will help the brave doctors who are fighting this novel coronavirus out there in the frontlines. Mr. Martin Yin says he would like to express gratitude to Embassy of P.R.C. in Riga for accepting this donation and a special thanks to Economic and Commercial Counsellor of Embassy of People's Republic of China in Latvia Mr. Shen Xiaokai personally for very efficient and quick reaction ensuring that doctors receive it as soon as possible.
