Requesting Documents from Latvia

To request documents from abroad, a person shall fill in an application form addressed to the Embassy of Latvia in Lithuania and 3 copies of Form of Requesting Documents from Latvia in English, French, German, Latvian or Russian.

In the document requisition form only the column pertaining to the requested document shall be completed (e.g., certificate of birth, documents about education, work, etc.). Information shall be given accurately and in a legible handwriting.

Consular fee – 60 EUR.

State fee – have to be paid after the requested documents are received from archives, according to the bill from archives.

Other type of documents requisition Forms should be filled in (the Forms can be obtained at the Embassy).

Consular fee – 15 - 45 EUR;

State fee - 5 -15EUR;

Translation – 5 EUR.
