The list of Latvian diplomatic and consular representations
Addresses and telephone numbers of embassies are available in the database of diplomatic missions of the Republic of Latvia:
* The Embassy of Latvia in Egypt sends the visa applications lodged by third-country nationals to the Embassy of Latvia in France where the consular officer decides on the granting of visa. The consular officer charges to a visa applicant consular fee and mailing costs related to the dispatch of documents.
Diplomatic and consular representations of other Schengen member states that issue visas for travelling to Latvia
! Please note that the Hungarian diplomatic and consular missions representing Latvia in the issuance of visas accept visa applications only from the citizens of their state of residence and from those third-country citizens who are staying in this state with residence permit.
We suggest that foreigners, who seek to receive a visa for entering Latvia at the missions listed below, contact the chosen mission in advance and clarify the procedure of visa issuance and in particular which are the supporting documents to be attached to the visa application.
Applying for visa at the German, Hungarian or French diplomatic or consular representation issuing uniform or Schengen visas in the name of Latvia, a foreigner should be aware of the following: - a translation in English or in the language of the relevant representation shall be attached to the documents produced in Latvian
- an invitation approved by the Office of Migration of Citizenship Affairs should be submitted in paper-form. The inviting party will be provided with an invitation in paper-form if he/she will indicate a representation of Germany, Hungary or France, issuing visas in the name of Latvia, as a place where the visa will be applied for. After the receipt of the invitation it shall be forwarded to the visa applicant.
