Latvia will become a full member of the WTO on February 11  [12.01.1999]

On January 11 Permanent Mission of the Republic of Latvia to the United Nations, in Geneva submitted to the Secretariat of World Trade Organization the official instrument of Latvia's accession to the WTO protocol. Consequently, in accordance with Article 8 of the Accession protocol, Latvia will become a full member of the WTO on February 11, 1999.
