President Bush to visit Latvia on May 6 – 7, 2005
Following the President of Latvia Vaira Vike-Freiberga's invitation the U.S. President George W. Bush will visit Latvia on 6 and 7 May. The President Bush's visit will be particularly symbolic as it will take place in the time when Latvia celebrates the 15th anniversary since the restoration of its independence and a year since Latvia became a member state of NATO and the European Union.
On 7 May a working lunch of the Presidents of the U.S. and the three Baltic States will take place in Riga.
