Ambassador of Latvia presents credentials to King of Sweden [19 Mar 2010]

On 19 March, the Ambassador of Latvia to the Kingdom of Swden presented her credentials to H.M. Carl XVI Gustav, King of Sweden. Ambassador Manika expressed her commitment to further strengthening of political, economic and cultural relations between Latvia and Sweden, the Baltic-Nordic regional co-operation, as well as people-to-people co-operation and NGO partnership.

Ms Manika also remains non-resident Ambassador of Latvia to the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Before taking up the current office, she was Head of Economic and Bilateral Relations Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ms Manika's predecessor in Sweden, Elita Kuzma, has now replaced her as Head of the Foreign Ministry's Economic and Bilateral Relations Directorate.
