Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins to discuss foreign policy with pupils of Plavinas Gymnasium [26 Feb 2010]

On 26 February, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins will visit the Plavinas District Gymnasium in order to discuss with pupils of grades 10 to 12 the current developments in foreign policy, and the Foreign Ministry agenda. The visit takes place at the invitation of the gymnasium.

"I am happy to respond to the invitation from the Plaviņas District Gymnasium to meet with students and inform them about the current foreign policy agenda and priorities of the foreign service. I also hold a positive opinion about the students' interest about everyday work of the Foreign Ministry and foreign policy developments in Europe and worldwide," Minister Riekstins indicates.
