On 2 September, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins will meet with the Chairman of the Riga City Council, Nils Usakovs, in order to discuss the co-operation of Latvia's capital with other cities in the world.

Both officials intend to review also the situation regarding the cases of fraud against foreign tourists in bars and nightclubs in Riga's Old Town and the co-operation to date and in future between the Foreign Ministry and the Riga City Council to address this issue.
