Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins meets Ambassador of Poland on farewell visit

On 24 November, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Latvia, Maciej Klimczak, pays a farewell visit to Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins.

During the meeting, the parties will discuss the bilateral relations between both countries, in particular, their economic co-operation, and the topical agenda of the European Union.

The Ambassador's time in office saw a number of high level visits to Latvia by Polish officials, regular meetings between officials of both countries in regional multilateral formats, for instance, as part of the Baltic-Polish, and the Baltic-Visegrad co-operation. 

Ambassador of Poland, Maciej Klimczak was accredited in October 2005.
