Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins to attend Estonian National Song and Dance Celebration [05 Jul 2009]

Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins, on the invitation of the Foreign Minister of Estonia, Urmas Paet, will attend the gala concert of the National Song and Dance Celebration of Estonia on 5 June, in Tallinn.

The first nation-wide song festival in Estonia was held in 140 years ago, but the first dance festival dates back to the year 1934.
