Foreign Minister congratulates Finnish Foreign Ministry on its 90th anniversary

 

On 27 May, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins sent a congratulatory letter to Alexander Stubb, the Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the 90^th anniversary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.

Minister Riekstins expressed gratitude to the Finnish Foreign Ministry for its active co-operation, advice, and mutual trust. As Mr Riekstins underlined, the Latvian Foreign Ministry is proud, honoured, and privileged to be a partner of co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.  

The traditionally friendly relations between Latvia and Finland are based on mutual interests to ensure stability, security, and prosperity in the Baltic Sea Region and in the whole of Europe.
