Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins to debate foreign policy issues with Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of Polish Sejm

On 21 May, Krzysztof Lisek, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, will make an introductory visit to Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins with the aim of discussing development of political dialogue in Latvia-Poland relations. It is anticipated that the officials will debate co-operation within the Baltic Sea Region, current events in EU issues and energy policy, the European Neighbourhood Policy, and other foreign policy matters. 

During his visit, Krzysztof Lisek also plans to meet with Andris Berzins, Chair of the Saeima Foreign Affairs Committee, and Vaira Paegle, Chair of the Saeima European Affairs Committee.
