Foreign Ministry congratulates Serbia on democratic parliamentary and municipal elections

The Foreign Ministry congratulates Serbia on 11 May parliamentary and municipal elections that took place peacefully and as a whole were conducted in line with international standards. 

The Foreign Ministry expresses hope that Serbia's newly elected parliament will succeed in installing a stable government, which will continue to implement the reforms necessary for long-term development of the state.  

The Foreign Ministry underlines that these elections are of great significance to the Euro-Atlantic integration, not only of Serbia but also of the whole region, and are crucial for ensuring future stability in the Western Balkans.
