Foreign Minister condemns Jerusalem tragedy of 6 March

Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins has expressed condemnation about the tragedy that took place on 6 March, in Jerusalem, when a terrorist attacked a Jewish religious seminary in West Jerusalem, killing eight and injuring about 10 people.

The Minister sent a letter of condolence to the Israeli Foreign Minister, Tzipi Livni, conveying his sympathy to the families of the victims and condemning this act of terror.

It is crucial for the Israeli Government and the Palestinian National Authority to renew the process of negotiations already commenced, and not to allow further deterioration of the situation.
