Foreign Ministry Secretary of State meets Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of Lithuanian Seimas

On 31 July, Normans Penke, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Justinas Karosas, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Lithuanian Seimas who is in Latvia on a two day visit. During the meeting, both parties expressed their satisfaction about the active co-operation between countries at presidential, government leader, sector minister and non-governmental organisation level. Special attention during the discussion was devoted to energy issues.

Both sides were in agreement that an open and constructive dialogue is both necessary and possible for the successful resolution of any issue in relations between countries.
