Foreign Minister condemns terrorist attack in Kabul

Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins condemns the terrorist attack that took place on 7 July near the Indian Embassy in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.  

The Minister extends his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of the blast. The attack by a suicide bomber claimed 41 lives, including five members of the staff of the Indian Embassy; more than 140 people were injured.
