Maris Riekstins congratulates U.S. Secretary of State on U.S. Independence Day

On 4 July, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins sent a congratulatory letter to Condoleezza Rice, the U.S. Secretary of State, in honour of the 232^nd anniversary of the independence of the U.S. In his letter, Minister Riekstins highlights Latvia's friendly relations with the U.S. and the successful co-operation as part of bilateral and transatlantic dialogue, as well as expresses readiness to work together with the U.S. in promoting democracy and solving key problems in the world.
