Foreign Ministry to present safe travel at BALTTOUR tourism fair

On 8-10 February, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will participate in the BALTTOUR international tourism fair. The Consular Department of the Foreign Ministry will offer visitors information which may be useful when planning for travel abroad, as well information about consular assistance in cases where residents of Latvia find themselves in emergency situations in foreign countries.

The Ministry's exhibition stand will have information on Latvian representation and consulates abroad and on the consular register, as well as display booklets on safe travel and on actions to take in emergency situations. Competent specialists of the foreign service will advise on the possibilities open to Latvia's representations for the assistance of its residents abroad.
