Foreign Minister and OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities to talk about social integration in Latvia
At a meeting scheduled for 21 April, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins and Knut Vollebaek, the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, will talk about social integration in Latvia.
The visit by Knut Vollebaek will include meetings with Oskars Kastens, the Minister for Special Assignments in Society Integration Affairs, Gaidis Berzins, the Minister for Justice, Tatjana Koke, the Minister for Education and Science, and other officials. The High Commissioner will also visit Daugavpils City Council and a number of educational institutions in Daugavpils.
Knut Vollebaek will be on a working visit in Latvia from 21 to 23 April.

At 4pm, in Room 309 (2nd floor) of the Ministry a photo and video opportunity has been scheduled prior to the commencement of the meeting between Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins and Knut Vollebaek, the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
From 5pm to 5.20pm a joint press conference will be given by the Foreign Minister and the OSCE High Commissioner in the press conference hall (ground floor). The press conference will be held in Latvian, with simultaneous translation into English.
